The train itself is fabulous, it looks great, is pretty sturdy and has a button that when pressed produces music and Ajay speaking (a feature which my children adore!)However be aware that you need to purchase the figure of Ajay - why is it now adays that so many well known toys do not come with accompanying figures? (get parents to spend more money proabaly!) Postman Pat is not the only make, the makers of Fireman Sam toys are culprits of this too. It is infuriating! I did not realise that Ajay was not a part of the set (I should have twigged by now that this is the case especially after the drama of no Fireman Sam with Jupiter on christmas morning!) It did spoil the enjoyment slightly when it was first being played and no one could be put in the train. When a pack of figures were then purchased, my two boys loved it completly and still after a few months do not bore of it - it can be a bit fiddly to get the figures in and out of the train mind, but again this seems to be a feature of modern toys (getting smaller and smaller, so so are the figures) But overall once the figures are purchased, your child will surely love this train!
