Jim Coomer has written a marvellous book about an American playing golf in Scotland. With his wife Jane they embark on a wonderful trip through Scotland. Mr Coomer eloquently descibes his experiences of playing on some of Scotland's finest golf courses. Througout the book he also refers to his meetings with local people from guest house owners to the local minister in Troon. This is a most informative read and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering travelling to Scotland to play golf.
