If you are looking for a guide on purchasing (or renting) property in Portugal that will also cover key aspects to do with living in the country, this one rates high in my view. You may find less detail on the actual purchasing (ro renting) process, but you'll find a variety of other useful aspects like banking, health service, driving, and pets. Unlike other guides that may promise you all you need to know when 'going to live in Portugal', and don't deliver, this one promises less and delivers more.

This book is very well set out. Part 1 is on working and living in Portugal, Part 2 on buying property in the country. It touches on practically all you need to know. You will definitely get the big picture about settling in the country. This guide is based on hard facts and full of practical advice. It is very useful for people planning to move to Portugal.
