Having covered over 1500 KM in two weeks in Northern Portugal we used this map daily but often found it just didnt equate to the roads we were driving on! I pride myself on good map reading skills and admit the "cloverleaf" type exits on and off the motorways do make matters confusing, but I got myself in a bit of a stew at times and we often missed junctions and found it hard to find entries back onto motorways. The signposting in Portugal is also rubbish, the typical one sign and then no more is the norm! I hate to admit it, but next time we go to this area we are taking SAt Nav unless a better map is produced! PS the tolls are VERY expensive, stick to the free roads as the locals do, most of them run beside the motorways!

It is surprising that Michelin are so far behind with this map. However there don't seem to be any alternatives.

This map was a waste of money, don't know when it was last updated, but loads of roads were missing, even major ones. It was so bad that we reverted to the Michelin map covering Spain AND Portugal, so a much smaller scale - but more accurate. A definate 'don't buy'.
