Product Description

CD Description

This is the seventh collaborative album between Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, a duo whose presence in the UK circuit is hard to miss, so much do they tread the boards. The track titles are as evocative as the music is powerful. Here are two stalwarts of the genre once again doing what they do best.

Up to Standard 3 Jun 2011

Format:Audio CD
If you know Phil and Aly this album will not disappoint. A mix of brisk tunes and haunting pieces - fun and emotion in spades. If you don't know Phil and Aly you are in for a treat with all of their albums - and where have you been? They are Scotland's premier musicians. Phil can write amazing tunes and Aly twists magical spirit into them on the fiddle with Phil playing alongside on any instrument you can name. Going to a performance by them (which is strangely laced with loads of humour) should be on your Bucket List.

A Very good CD 12 Oct 2011
Format:MP3 Download
If you are Phil and Aly fans this CD will not let you down. It has more slower music and a lot more of their composititons but is very pleasant to listen to.
