Great item if you're away from mains power and want to do anything other than have your iphone standing by. Around 4 full charges from 4 AA batteries

This product is easy to use and lasts for hours, the great thing about it is that you can carry spare batteries to double the hours it keeps your ipod charged.This extender does not get in the way of the ear phones like some of the other products I looked at. I would strongly recommend this product.

This charged my iPhone 4 from 10% to 100% in 4 hours on 4 duracel AA batteries. I bought this as I'm going camping soon, but am not convinced its going to do the job. When the phone was charging, it kept churping and flashing the apple symbol on the screen, which was a little worrying, although it did charge and the phone is fine. I think 1 charge has about killed the duracell batteries, which could make it quite an expensive way of charging the phone. So I'd rate it as "OK", not as good as I was expecting.

Excellent - but you need good batteries

great item, does what it says on the tin!
havent had any problems, it charged 4 iphones and 2 ipods throughout glastonbury. we used lithium batteries as suggested, so can't comment on it's performance using regular AAs.
