Although this product looked very good and promised to be very useful it soon became a problem when first used the language was wrong and I couldn't access the correct menu to change it, I contacted the supplier by email (no phone number) but they couldn't help, all they could suggest is that we read the user manual. Tis manual, because of the bad translation, was completely useless so inevitably I had to return the DVD player.

This is a very nice Portable DVD player. It is ideal for taking in the car and camping etc.
The 9.5" screen is just about right and displays the pictures very nicely. The sound quality is quite good too. I was expecting the sound to be a little tinny and not very rounded but to my surprise it is actually rather good.
The DVD lid, does feel a little on the fragile side much like the lid on a PS-2. So long as you close the lid 'nicely' then you should never really have a problem. The DVD and function buttons and menu are not so intuitive. it took me a little while to get to grips with them.
The swivel screen is just great. Be careful though, that you don't try and spin it round the wrong way. (that nearly cost us a new portable dvd player. :(
So long as you are careful with it it is perfect for sitting on your lap while in the car, (which my grandson loves to do on long journeys) or train etc. (not to sure they would be happy if you pulled out one of these on a plane though).
This also came with a disc of games and a controller. The games are not the best, (compared to todays standard), but are really good for passing the time away in "ye-olde space invaders style". much of the games are the same but with different dressing. The controller is much like the cheap TV type ones you get for the "pretend" games consoles. Functional but not the best. Look out also for the usb port that accepts the controller as there are 2 ports but only one will work witht the game controller.
It will also play discs of MP3's. I have many music cd's that are MP3 and this will play them quite happy.
All in all, this is a great buy for the price and does the job to a very resonable standard. It is great to entertain kids on long journeys (since EYE SPY just doesn't cut it any more) or for those rainny days when you go camping.

If you are thinking of getting one then I would say go for it. I think you will be plesantly surprised.

i got this as my mom wanted one for christmas my dad gave me the money so it is from my dad its just he never nos what to get and he hasnt got a loptop or internet and dnt no how to use it so i looked on amazon as i no there good for money and use them alot i saw this and from all the rest i saw this one was really good for money so i went for it. it never came for chirstmas which was a shame and when it did come the box was all battered and also the lead for the dvd is way way too short and the voulome only gos up to 20 which ay no good for the money that my dad paid i was ashamed to give it as as a give from moy dad as it was her main and only gift off him i really woundnt buy this if you was value for your money
