For first time vaporizer's this is a great start. I can't smoke anything without coughing my lungs up but with this I can have as much as I like without feeling any discomfort (part from drymouth but that's expected). Another pro is that the smell isn't nearly as strong. Looking for a cheap and easy way to vaporize this is the best thing I could find.
The downside is that it isn't really portable, I mean you can take it where ever you want but you need to be able to plug it in and have a firm flat surface or you'll just end up spilling it. The other downsides are that may be difficult to clean (need to try some alcohol) and not really any instructions but it is simple enough.
Instructions:
Straight from the box; plug in the vaporizer and the hose(don't forget to pop the hose points), grind up your herb (get a grinder), place herb on the heating plate (don't overfill), place the dome on making sure its properly sealed, turn the dial up to the '+' mark (personal preference) and wait for a few minutes until you can see the vapour is nice and thick (generally when you can't see it move is when it's at its max. capacity), keep puffing until it stops producing vapour, and then just take off the dome and empty the remains (if you leave it in it will cloud up the dome with resin faster which is a ***** to clean).
If I wanted something truly portable I'd go for the MagicBox.

Good product, works well. Only draw back is it is a little light so have to be careful with it in use. Temp controller would be better placed on the unit as opposed to the power lead which itself is a little short. It works well and is priced well.

Giving up smoking is difficult , especially after 15 years. I decided to try using a vaporizer and herbal mixtures to help me get past the whole urge to smoke thing. However, I have very little money so went to the low end of Vaporizers.
Having now used the "portable Fuzion VP DVR 500 Vaporizer Adjustable Temperature" I can say a few things with clarity:
1: Calling it portable is a bit silly. You associate an Iphone with being portable, something you can put in your pocket. This is not and given it has a glass bulb on the top , moving it around a lot without being very careful could leave you with broken glass in your bag. It is portable in the same sense anything on Earth you can move is portable.
2: Adjustable temperature - No, it is not, unless by that they mean very very hot and no heat at all as the two settings.
This lies at the heart of the problem. A vaporizer should not burn your herbs. It should not leave you hacking at the acrid vapour/smoke.
When I contacted the makers they were of zero help what so ever, only taking the time to tell me more or less that the fault lay with me rather than the product. Have I checked out this forum for help on how to use it. Tad condescending, I am capable of using Google and most definitely used the product in the correct fashion. They said very few people complained about it:at 20 quid most people probably bought it , realised it did not work and just moved on with their lives rather than complaining about it. So few people actually give feed back , y'know.
If I could, I would have my money back from this product. It is cheap, badly made and does NOT do what it says it does. (Or at the least, the one I was sent does not, although a friend has the same make and it also does not vaporize)
Avoid this product at all costs and go with one of the Vape pipes or electronic pipes.
