I have had this electric fire for over a year and i/we absolutely love it, we initially bought it as a heater because in our flat we only have storage heaters which are not only expensive to run BUT our 2 young children seemed to have colds every other day because of the dampness regardless of how much we tried reconditioning the air, not only has it lasted almost 2 years (so far and still going strong) but its alot cheaper to run than some heaters around and it looks lovely in our living room, the burning log effect gives it that warming feeling and i would highly recommend it. I wouldnt pay what their asking here though as i bought it almost 2 years ago for £50 half the price here so make sure you shop around. All in all excellant highly recommend!

This electric fire works well. I just use it to supplement my central heating occasionally.

Loved this little stove. Bought it for my teenagers TV room as it can get quite cool in the Autumn/winter months even though it has a radiator. It looks fabulous and gives a "warm glow" even when you just put the flame lights on.
It is also a very effective little heater and warmed the room in minutes such that we could switch it off and just leave the flames on for the effect.
I read an earlier review regarding the noise level - I have to say there is a mild hum when the heat fans are on, but it was nothing and certainly not audible when the TV was on (and I didn't have to turn it up!).

Bought this for use during Scottish summer, when I turn off the central heating to save money. It's so efficient at heating the sitting room - and cheaper to run - I may rethink my winter heating! Yes you can hear the fan running, but I don't find it intrusive, and the flame effect is quite reasonable for an electric. I wouldnt want to move it from room to room too often, but it is light enough to lift out of the hearth for cleaning, and looks very good when in situ on an unused fireplace. Happy with my purchase.

I bought one of these from another website (much cheaper than Amazon) but, whilst impressed with the look of the thing, it was so noisy when switched on that I couldn't hear my TV without whacking up the volume. The noisy fan might not bother some people but I found it excessive and sent it back. I'm still looking for a quiet replacement . . . !

Just love this stove, needed a fire to fill in a space below the mantlepiece, it looks really good, just like the real thing, you can also have the flame effect on, just by itself, amazing value too.

Wood Burner Electric Stove
I liked the appearance of this Stove, but when the light is on the wood effect is very poor.I think the wood could have looked more realistic. Apart from that I am happy with it.
