I wanted something cheap and functional for my tablet. I got it, and its fine and hunky dory - but the USB lead is very short indeed. Due to the particular positioning of the USB port on my tablet this hangs there, mid air. I'm not certain how robust that will be over time. This is obviously absolutely fine for a standard laptop where you don't really want yards of flex tangling around, but for a desktop, or a tablet like the A1CS 8" ANDROID 2.3 TABLET, CAPACITIVE MULTI-TOUCH, FASTEST PROCESSOR S5PV210A8 HDMI FLASH 10.3 USB MIFI WIFI CAMERA with NEW EXTERNAL CASING the lack of lead length is a bit less desirable, particularly when using the tablet with a mini keyboard, like a tiny laptop, rather than with on-screen touch keyboard.

Very Fast delivery, good standard product, ordered three for my home computers and all work great, although they do not have enough power to run my removable hard drive, they do a great job for a great price.

Cheap and cheerful, this does exactly what is asked of it. Build quality isn't that great, with the item feeling a bit 'plastic', but you get what you pay for.
The USB connection tucks neatly in the back when not in use and a green LED indicates activity. 4 ports, 1 hub, no reason not to buy; cheap build quality is the only thing in the way of it getting 5 stars.
One last thing - for some reason I thought the USB connection was kind of retractable and extendable. It's not. What you see in the picture is what you get, and the short lead just tucks away round the back (as mentioned before) rather than retracts inside the unit.

Just what I needed...
...to help reduce cable tagliatelle and general desk and p.c. clutter.

It works... Sometimes
it works, its simple and effective. sometimes needs the cable wiggling so dont use it if you are transfering large amounts of dara that cant be interupted, but otherwise good bit... Read more
