Product Description
This 5-port 10/100Mbps switch will allow you to quickly add up to five computers, workstations, and other Ethernet devices to your Ethernet network. It is ideal for small businesses and home networks. This switch is a Plug & Play installation and no configuration is necessary.
All 5 ports support automatic MDI/ MDI-X crossover detection. Auto MDI/MDIX ports on newer hubs or switches makes it simple to connect to the switch, just plug either a Crossover or Straight Through CAT5 cable into any port.

I'm a student at university and only have one connection to the internet, and having to swap the cables over between my PS3 and PC became very annoying. This does the job perfectly, i can have both my PS3 and PC online at the same time no worries and no problems to report so far. The reason why i have given this product 4 stars however is that if i plug one of my devices into the first available port which is located next to the uplink port, it's as if it treats the device connected to the first port as the uplink, resulting in no internet connection. I got round this problem by not using the first port (X1) on the switch. So if your thinking of buying this switch to use all of its 5 available ports, you might have a problem...

Great product.
I baught this because i have a PC and an XBOX 360 but was a bit woried that it wouldn't work as i use a home plug to get a wired Ethernet connection into my bedroom, however when i plugged it into the socket i plugged in the homeplug into port 1 pc into port 2 and xbox into port 3 and rite away it worked.
Recomend to anyone who wants a simple sollution to rig up a network into their bedroom or living room ect.

I found this brilliant for anyone who's in university with one port... i using this for laptop and for my PS3. one or two ports failed for a bit...but could be something to do with the university. I defiantly recommend this to anyone who needs multiple ports!
