This is one of several books that I have downloaded from Judith Stone and I must say that I am pleased with what I got. The recipes are clearly explained and considering that it is a book about 1 cut of meat, there is plenty of variety in the way that it is cooked. I have yet to make anything, but the fact that I am tempted to, is a good sign. I'll let you know when I've made one.

Not sure how to rate this book. It was short with great descriptions of pork belly. The recipes are nice and upgrade the cut of meat. That being said, I found similar recipes on the internet using a Google search. I like my stuff nice and neat and on my kindle to use while I am cooking so this book was great for me. If you are not particular, go with a Google search. I will make all but one of the recipes in this book so it was good buy.

I grew up in the South, but had to wait until I took a trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia to finally experience pork belly. I had roasted pork belly at a restaurant and it was amazing. I figured that there had to be more than one or two ways to prepare PB. I was happy to find this book dedicated to PB on Amazon. I have 10 lbs of Kurobuta pork on order and intend to try every recipe in the book.

A nice compilation of mouth watering, yet affordably inexpensive recipes. Would have appreciated more if the measured amounts of ingredients had not been metric. A little homework in converting measures is required, but worth while in the end results. Scrumptious! You'll be hard pressed deciding which is your favorite dish.
