Poppy Silk is a fascinating story set in the Black Country during a very hard period of time.
Michael Taylor makes his stories so more interesting by combining them with the history of the Black Country. The accurasy of the details in his novels makes for easy reading and holds your interest right to the last page.
Congratultions for Poppy Silk, and good luck with the next one entitled "Salt of the Earth" which speaks for itself.
