This popcorn maker is easy to use, simply place the measured kernels in the central chamber and turn the machine on. The hot air starts whizzing the kernels around to make the popcorn. In theory, as the kernels pop they are pushed out through the top of the chamber and land in the bowl. In reality, popcorn flies out all over the place unless you have a bowl high enough to meet the top of the exit area. I used a large mixing bowl and even that wasn't nearly big enough to catch everything. Unfortunately a lot of unpopped kernels fly out as well, some of them actually popping after leaving the machine - it's chaotic to have red hot kernels flying around the kitchen exploding where they land. In the end, about half of the kernels pop, half don't but everything gets blown out of the machine. It's a great idea but this machine isn't really fit for purpose, the design lets it down.
