i saw this guy live at the robin club in bilston west midlands, and just had to buy the dvd. his guitar playing (esp.hey joe) and stage presence is awesome, and the dvd is rel good quality-a must see!

Format:Audio CD
This CD set is fantastic. If you are a fan of Jimi Hendrix you will absolutely love this CD set. Of course, as a Popa Chubby fan I knew this set would be great. I think that the live versions of "Hey Joe" and "Little Wing" are the best I have ever heard, rivaling Jimi's. The style is just different. The songs in this 3 CD set are not Popa Chubby's attempt to mimic Jimi Hendrix, they are Jimi Hendrix songs done by Popa Chubby in his own special blazing guitar style. This is the best CD I have purchased in years. If you are Hendrix fan OR a Popa Chubby fan you not only will NOT be disappointed, you will be smiling from ear to ear as you blast the music. Anyone who says different listens to a different Jimi Hendrix than I do.

I got this cd this week and think it is great - I love Hendrix and if you do,I don't see how you can fail to like this, despite the previous reviewers comments - Chubby is without doubt a great blues player and this is a mighty fine album, easily as good as the Hamsters fine memorial effort!! Chubby will be over here in the UK in May 2008 - check him out - I will!!!!
