Erasure "Tomorrow's World"

Biography

Following the disbandment of the short-lived synth pop group Yazoo, former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke formed Erasure in 1985 with singer Andy Bell. Like Yaz and Depeche Mode, Erasure were a synth-based group, but they had stronger dance inclinations, as well as a sharper, more accessible sense of pop songcraft, than either of Clarke's previous bands. Furthermore, Erasure had the flamboyantly… Read more in Amazon's Erasure Store

POPTASTIC!! 3 April 2009
Format:MP3 Download
This is exactly what you should expect from one of the most underrated bands the UK has ever produced.
Much better than anything that the Pet Shop Boys have produced this year!

Great EP! 12 Feb 2009
By Craig Taylor VINE™ VOICE
Format:Audio CD
The new EP from Erasure, may look like a lazy release from the band, but let me you assure you, this is excellent.
If you enjyed the last EP, Storm Chaser you'll love this! It contains 10 remixes of some well known and not as known Erasure songs from different periods of thier career, all sounding very 'clubland'.
An excellent EP and a must have for all erasure fans, goes nicely with the Total Pop release too!

Always welcome 12 April 2009
Format:Audio CD
As a long time fan of this band - although they will always come second to Pet Shop Boys ;-) - I was excited at the prospect of some new remixes of some of their best songs. Spirited versions of the sublime 'Always', Vince Clarke's Sync 82 Remix of 'Stop!' and the uplifting 'Fingers and Thumbs (Cold Summer's Day') are probably the best tracks on the album, whilst the Latin tinged Freedom' and buoyant 'Chorus' almost manage to improve on the originals. A welcome release but hopefully just a stop-gap until an album of new material is released - come on lads!
