Product Description

Product Description

In this work, one hundred of the best known, most popular, awesome and awful pop lyrics are given the Powerpoint treatment. They are deliberated and disseminated across the presentation platform. Each example is coupled with a presentation of staggering simplicity and bullet-point brilliance that cuts to the heart of the song. Hilarious pie charts, flow diagrams, checklists, graphs and graphics pinpoint the heart of every line. Poetic, comic, philosophical and farcical, here is an in-depth scrutiny of the most glorious, gratifying, grating and gruesome pop lyrics of the last 50 years.

About the Author

Saw a couple of these on-line and thought the joke might wear thin. Far from it. Kicked off a whole new pub game which got seriously competitive. Some of these are just obscure enough to be a challenge, others are simply downright hilarious. Who knew "sorry" would be harder than "balustrade"? Fantastic.

While the premise is genius, the amount of typos in the book ruin it. Who are 'The Smith's'? When did Lionel Richie sing 'I Just Called To Say I Love You'?

It's a shame, because the idea is great. Perhaps it would have been an idea to get a proofreder in before rush-releasing it for Xmas, though? (Mind you, I would say that - I am a proofreader!)

One of the funniest books I've ever seen. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Still makes me laugh even though I know exactly what's on every page. Genius.
