Lovely Book 10 July 2009
By Jax VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback
This is a lovely book, full of easy comforting recipes. John Shepherd illustrations scattered throughout. Suitable for children and adults alike.....I needed the potatoe cake recipe for Sunday brunch, it tasted wonderful.

So charming I spent Xmas Eve 1975 reading it 16 Nov 2008
By Mary Jfitzpatrick - Published on Amazon.com
Unfortunately the 1969 hardback edition is out of print, as I want one for a Xmas present and I can't bear to part with my son's that I gave him in 1975. The recipes easily engage children to try new foods, to get into the kitchen, and to read aloud while cooking. The preludes to each recipe transport you to the magical mindset of Pooh. And, understandably so, the final recipe is one for "getting thin". A must have in the cookbook collection for any age as the preludes are meant to be wondered out loud, as Pooh so often does!
