Norman Thelwell has drawing horse cartoons down to a fine art. Be warned, once you start you will not be able to stop reading this wonderfully witty book. 5 stars is not enough!

This book is great for anyone who has been around horses and ponies for a while and just understands them. If you dont know anything about equines then you might not get the most out of it because all the jokes within the picture really are related to how horses behave.

The book basically has loads of cartoon picture, usually of children and thier ponies. It captures the whole idea of having a pony as a child.

Generally, its hilarious. I love all of thelwells work. Its just so comical for any horse and pony lover... buy it!

These cartoons are simply great - clever, classic humour that deserves a place anywhere where there's an interest in horses or the outdoor life.

This should be a 6* book, but the images have been shrunk to fit the small paperback format, and the quality of the paper doesn't do the cartoons justice. It's a real shame they haven't preserved the original format of these marvellous books.
