About the Author

Stacy Gregg completely understands the desperation of wannabe horsey girls who want a pony of their own. She spent many frustrating horse-less years training her bewildered dog to showjump in the back yard until her parents gave in and she got her first pony – a swaybacked brown mare named Bonnie. Stacy’s ponies, and her experiences at her local pony club provided the inspiration for the Pony Club Secrets books. Her later years at boarding school are now coming in handy too as the catalyst for the upcoming new series Pony Club Rivals.

best book ever!!!! 9 April 2010
A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
Stacy Gregg has written many bestsellers before but she has really outdone herself this time!! Georgie Parker has decided to follow in her mother, the amazing eventer Ginny Parker's footsteps and to do that she must get a place in the blainford academy, the most prestigious riding school ever! But even if she manages to make it through the gruelling auditions, she may have to make some big sacrifices to live her dream. Buy this book to find out what happens, i swear that you will not regret it! I have one word to describe this book and its author, GENIUS! if only i could rate it more than 5 stars! i would reccomend this book to anyone, any age. i am almost thirteen and i think this book rocks! Definitely a must buy! :D

Great Book 20 Feb 2011
A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
I thought this book was great. It really captures what riding and looking after a horse is like. Great characters and storyline - the other book in the series is great as well. I think everyone loves horses, animals and good stories should try it!

Gr8! 27 Sep 2010
A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
I bought this book thinking it was going to be like her other series Pony Club Secrets, with the magic, but its gritty horsy stuff with a view of a nervous rider called Georgie Parker. Her mum, Ginny Parker, is killed when her horse Boudicca falls on her and this dents Georgie's confidence a bit. She goes through hard auditions to finally get a place at the amazing Blainford Academy, and finds herself assigned to a horse called Belladonna who is Boudicca's foal. She takes a fancy to James, Kennedy's brother, makes a best friend with Alice and battles through Tara Kelly's cross country lessons.
Highly recommend it to horsy girls above the age of 9, its great.
