Absolutely stunning! 14 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
I've been working in polymer clay for almost three years now. I'm not an artist and have no formal training, and despite the fact that I've always had quite a developed creative streak, when creating in clay I've often felt the lack of a formal background in basic color technique. Well, no more. This book is just beyond words! It has explanations and exercises for people at all levels and gets you thinking about color in a totally new way. I'm thrilled and would absolutely recommend this book.

This is a stunning book, the projects created are true works of art and I would never have thought of using polymer clay in such a way. The author takes you through the colours of the spectrum showing you how to mix them correctly and how to mix colours that flow. She gives exercises every step of the way to help you progress. The designs are stunningly beautiful and look very complex but with practice they are achievable. I wouldn't say this is a book for beginners but anyone interested in creating something totally different with polymer clay will love this book.
