5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for beginners or polymer clay addicts., 8 Dec 1999
By A Customer
As an experienced polymer clay user, I've found a lot of inspiration and some new technique ideas in of this book. I can see that a beginner would find it just as useful if not more so, because it is very clear and informative.

The pictures of other artists work are wonderful, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, comprehensive reference book, 18 Aug 2000
By A Customer
This book is stuffed with an extremely wide range of polymer clay techniques. The photographs are clear, and the examples easy to follow. It's amazing what Sue Heaser can do with clay: the imitations of natural materials such as wood and precious and semi-precious stones are particular impressive. I don't think the book is ideal for complete beginners, as does not contain any complete projects to follow. (Beginners might find Sue Heaser's other books on polymer clay jewellery and doll's house miniatures more suitable. If you have a little experience with clay, this is an excellent source for techniques that you might want to use in your own projects.
