This book is loaded with creative, colorful projects for all ages to enjoy. Our whole family (5,10, 36, and 37 years of age)has poured over the book, enjoyed the beautiful pictures, and made a number of the projects. Because the instructions are clear and easy to follow, with an ambundance of information in the first chapter (Materials & Techniques), everyone has enjoyed creating various projects. Also important are the numerous suggestions on how to change the projects --"Variation" boxes are highlighted throughout the book. None of the projects is so confining in design that the reader will not want to let his or her imagination loose and create new variations on these great projects. Over 30 projects, from buttons and beads to candleholders and clocks, from easter eggs to halloween eyeballs, are detailed in this book.

If you ae looking for a book to give to creative families for Christmas, this is it. And before Christmas, make some of the colorful projects yourself and use them for stocking stuffers. This book contains a wealth of projects and creative ideas for adults and children alike.
