'Polymer Clay for the Fun of it!' is a perfect title for Kim Cavender's book as it promises and delivers fun projects in a fun and lively way from start to finish.
She adds personal notes, quotes and useful tips throughout. It's just like being in one of her classes, you learn, have fun and at the same time make something to take home and show off.
The book is much more than 20+ projects because all its decorative clay techniques can be used for other projects of your own choice.
An entertaining and versatile book - well done, Kim Cavender.

I love this book!

Kim's book, Polymer Clay For The Fun Of It, delivers on the promise. She has proven that, fun and easy need not be ill designed and sloppy. Her color sense, her good taste and her sense of humor come through loud and clear. This book is not only a great way for a beginner to start a polymer clay journey, there's something for experienced clayers, too.

A must have book!

Whether you've been working in polymer clay for a while or are just beginning, this book is a must have for your library. Kim's projects are easy to understand and shed new light on creative ideas. The gallery is fantastic and inspirational. The "tips" and cute quotes she uses in this book are so much fun that it even makes for lighthearted reading. It has inspired me more than once. Hats off to you Kim for this wonderful book!

Kim Cavender has written a classic. This book is excellent for the novice clayer. As one who is experienced I enjoyed the clear concise directions. More importantly Kim's clean work glows thru her projects. There is a sense of style, balance, and creative artistry accomplished without becoming complicated. It is Kim's strong style I am drawn to and find refreshes my work.
There is something here for everyone. Novice to professional clayer will come away refreshed with many new ideas to try.
