About the Author
Frances Thomas has created a brilliant sequel to her first Polly book. With the same energy and humor and 100per cent child-appeal, Polly is recreated in another sparkling adventure. Frances lives in London where she works as a teacher and writer. Her other books for Bloomsbury are the award-winning picture book Supposing with a planned second Little Monster adventure Maybe One Day scheduled for publication in August 2001. Sally Gardner also lives in London where she works full-time as an illustrator. This is Sally's second book for Bloomsbury and she too is working on a picture book to be published in 2002. Sally Gardner is also published by Orion where she illustrates Jostein Garder's fiction as well as creating her own very fine picture books.
