This is one of the best children's book that I have ever bought. My two children (12 and 14) absolutely loved it! The depth of detail and gorgeous illustrations were so wonderful that my children have read it cover to cover three times already, and still won't move on to other books. If anything the sequel is better than the first, if that's even possible.

Another stunning book by Dee Shulman - fantastic characterisation and the drawings are just darling. It has quickly become a family favourite and my children particularly adore the mix of drawings and real life images. The diary format was great and the fact that it was written by the child, from the child's perspective meant that my children could really relate to it. Furthermore, the corrections of spelling mistakes by Polly have really helped my daughter learn how to spell some really quite complicated words.

I bought this book as a gift and was so enchanted by it I had to buy another copy for myself!!!
It is utterly hilarious, I actually giggled out loud in public -which was quite embarrassing.
Brightly and beautifully illustrated, it's a must for children and adults!!! I highly recommend this lovely book.
