My 5 year old had this play set for Xmas and we found it very awkward to put together but she liked it once built! The dolls dont stay on the track - they shoot over the side - so its nowhere near as good as the adverts portray.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and after a few turns the main slide mechanism broke (on the loop the loop section). While it worked my 4 year old did enjoy the toy, but I wonder how long her attention would have been held as it doesn't do much. Construction was fine despite looking complicated, but its not very sturdy. Also need to be aware that this toy uses Polly pocket dolls which are much smaller than the normal ones and you can't use the larger ones on this - this isn't clear from the packaging.

My daughter was desperate to have this toy for Christmas, it was the only thing she asked for.I got it for half price and still feel that it represents very poor value for money. The problem is that it simply doesn't work, the dolls don't go round the track and even if they did do, it still would be a disappointment, because it doesn't really do anything else. My daughter lost interest after only one frustrating afternoon playing with it. So after weeks of anticipation from my daughter and £25 from me, it is now banished to the back of the playroom, taking up far too much room, gathering dust and just annoying me every time I look at it. There is a reason this toy has now got 75% discount... it's rubbish!!
