3.0 out of 5 stars Useful recent history of the politics of sport development, 16 Jan 2004
By A Customer
This is a pretty readable book that takes you through how sport development has evolved under different governments since the 70s. The authors have done interesting, well-argued analysis on different trends. It has three case studies on how different types of organisations (a local authority, a national governing body) have promoted sport. This isn't as interesting (unless you work for one of the organisations in the case studies, I suppose)
