The Politics of Rescue: The Roosevelt Administration and the Holocaust, 1938-1945 22 May 2012

Henry Fiengold has written numerous books on the subject of the Holocaust. However, this book, written in 1970, is by far the most infomative on policies written about the refuge crisis of the late 1930s. The book centers around what the American government under FDR was attempting to accomplish concerning the Jewish crisis within Europe. He gives a detailed account of what Americans thought and believed during this time as well as what the German policies meant to the European Jewery. For those who shall study the Holocaust while in high school or college, should find this book rather useful. Although the book might be considered old, however, the information within it is still relative to the world today.
