About the Author
David Boothroyd is a researcher currently working for Parliamentary Monitoring Services. He was born in November 1972, in the same week that 'I wanna be elected' by Alice Cooper hit its highest chart position. He attended King's School Macclesfield and St Catharine's College Cambridge. He then worked for a short time as a researcher for an MP, before moving to his current job where he was principal compiler of the PMS Guide to Pressure Groups
(2nd edition) and the PMS Guide to the 1997 General Election.
