The original manuscript of this book went into the furnace minutes before a secret police raid in Communist Poland. The second copy, painfully reassembled by scientists working under impossible conditions of violence and repression, was sent via courier to the Vatican. Its receipt was never acknowledged - the manuscript and all valuable data lost. In 1984, the third and final copy was written from memory by the last survivor of the original researchers: Andrew Lobaczewski. Zbigniew Brzezinski blocked its publication. Do yourself and everyone you care about a favor and read this book. It explains in detail the process of how good people, groups and nations are overcome and co-opted by psychological deviants and how they are used by the same. A detailed and open look at what is happening in the world and more specificially the United States will show the processes described in this book taking place. The subject of psychopathy and the impact it has on societies, institutions and individual people is knowledge that every person of conscience needs to understand. Books I would read along with this book that brings the subject of psychpathy to a higher level of understanding are 'Snakes in Suits', 'Without Conscience', 'The Sociopath Next Door', and 'The Authoritarians'. Currently reading 'Puzzling People' and will review it later.

This is one of the most important books you will read. Learn what a psychopath is all about, and discover that while unsuccesfull psychopaths end up like criminals and in jail, the succesfull types end up in politics and positions of high powers. The world is controlled by psychopaths, thats why its all going down the drain. Empires are the best example of how far psychopaths can push their conquering agendas. Study the psychopathic traits explained in this book, and you might discover that your boss, sister, mother, father, best friend, professor, or whoever, just might be one.

Yes the message in this book is very important and will change your whole outlook on past and present political realities as well as give insight into why we are still in deep denial over this fact.
I found this book very heavy going its written in a technical language that often seems convoluted and difficult to follow, without a doubt its written for the professional in mind.
It would be great to have this subject researched and written about by a writer specifically for the layman covering the past yes but looking at our present worlds political systems more deeply.
