3.0 out of 5 stars Dull and worthy!, 22 Jan 2002
This review is from: Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984: Sections 60(1) (a)' and 66 (Codes of Practice) (Paperback)
This is the text of the PACE codes of practice, explaining how the police should operate according to the Act. This is the book that is offered to arrested persons when they are taken to the police station. It's pretty tough going but then it's not designed as a thriller, more a worthy work of reference. Useful and probably required reading for most police officers, especially those responsible for the interpretation and application of PACE on a daily basis.
