My true rating would be closer to 2.5. I generally like the concept and am happy to see that the printing cameras are getting smaller and smaller. Z2300 could be great for parties and fun photo experiments. However the moment you put it in your hands the camera feels very fragile. It accidentally switches itself on. The back open trigger (where Zink media is stored) only needs a subtle touch to pop open. I suggest a case for safety.
Polaroid recommends premium 2x3 Zink media which is expensive. You can still use the cheap (£0.14/sheet) POGO papers but the quality will be slightly reduced.

I bought this thinking it was going to be the modern day answer to the polaroid. However, the image quality is poor, the feel of the product is disappointing- seems more like a toy. It can only take photos in bright light. If you are looking for a fun gadget, and not worried about the image quality then this is for you, as its printing feature is pretty good.
