14/01/2013 After much messing around and attempts, I have opted to return the camera. Its a shame, the actual camera is very good. The mounts provided with it are just hopeless. Looking at other similar camera, the main omission with this camera's mounting system is a tripod style connection at the base of the case, which means you're really stuck with the included mounts, which are flimsy and poorly made. This leads to poor camera angles and vibration.

04/01/2013 Updated after 24 hours with the camera ... and two rides out with it on the bike.

The good first impressions of the Camera itself remain, and having viewed about an hour of footage (some at night some daytime) the quality is more than acceptable to me for the price of the camera.

HOWEVER - The Mounts that are provided with the Camera are AWFUL. The Handlebar mount vibrated loose within minutes of riding along pretty smooth section of paved cycle path, and despite my best efforts to tighten and re-tighten the bar mount and the piece that attaches to the camera it was a total loss, wobbles, the camera swings left and right .. useless. I will be looking to home brew a better solution.

I also tried the head mount, which is fine apart from if I use a head mount I can't wear a helmet, and if I put the head mount on the helmet the camera points skywards ... I tried using the strap as a chest mount, and while it was pretty steady the camera points down at the ground. The resulting footage was good in terms of the quality of video, but as a solution it needs more work. Again, I need to develop my own mounting system.

Scores on the doors?

Camera - 7/10
Ease Of Use - 8/10
Mounting System - 0/10
Overall - 5/10

03/01/2013 - First Impressions.

I Like it but has major flaws... more specifically on the mounting kit...

The one appointed for a bike handlebar wont work on any... the only narrow tubes that would fit on the mounting would be maximum of +/- 2,5cm /1 inch of diameter which narrows the use to special tubing on the handlebar or kids small bikes...

About the Head mount... is good but not compatible or thought to be use on/with helmets... which is a shame... because the strap is not removable... but you can use it on other body areas like arms, legs and torso is a question of what you think about using for! ;)

is really a shame not being compatible with the accessories of the big brother XS100 (bought it before, and literally, is awesome! better option than a gopro in my opinion)

You get a lot more than what you pay for, very good quality, small size and very light weight. The power button broke in 2 months but i took it to get repaired and it cost me 5 quid. The handlebar mount is pretty useless but the headstrap seems good the only bad thing about it is the time stamp,i can't change it and it is very annoying since i can't remove it.Overall it's a good camera.

this is a good little camera I mainly use it mounted on the stem on my cycle, I ride and hour each way, and one charge lasts and the card with it is nearly full after 2 hours,

the mount lets it down slightly the clamp is small for modern handle bars hence on the stem and it is a little loose, camera can turn 90 degrees on bumpy surfaces
