I wasn't sure what I was getting to be honest - I just needed something functional to allow me to stabilize my little hand held camera and make it look a little more professional (since I'm using it for professional purposes).
It gave me more than I bargained for . . . a nice, comfortable shoulder mount that gives me much more control and allows me to get up close to people without sticking my hand in their face.

It lacks screw holes in the underside knobs

I wish they put screw holes in the knobs so I can attach a gun handle. You need this so you can pan or change angle by using your hand, not by twisting your torso.
