This is a very good concept. The instant prints are a lot cheaper than the old style Polaroid prints (10p each compared to 80p).
The prints produced are of an Ok quality and it's fun being able to stick them on a postcard, fridge etc. The one major problem for our family is that the print colours and the stickiness of the backing begins to deteriorate after a few weeks.....so don't expect to keep them in an album or journal for years to come. The initial appeal and novelty will probably fade unless you have a regular specialised use sorted out for the pics.

I'm very happy with this. I bought it because the old polaroid film is becoming rare and expensive. However, I've already saved so much money because the Zink paper is much cheaper than the old 600 film. Also it has some fun "frames" you can add to the picures.
The only negatives are that the pictures are a wee bit small (3" x 2") and it would be nice if there were more editing functions on the pictures before you print them out.

I had been looking for an instant camera and after some searching, found the Polaroid Pogo with printer.
It's not like the Polaroid Land Cameras of yesteryear, this is bang up to date with an excellent 7MB capability and the facility to hit print and produce a good print, albeit of smallish proportions - 2" x 3". Good for sharing there and then, and there's still the 7MB on the memory card. The camera stores up to 10 sheets of the "ZINK" paper, so in normal circumstances very adequate. If you need to print more then you would have to recharge or use the mains. The prints have a self adhesive backing and so can be saved wherever you like! No more dodgy photo corners! The memory card details mention about a 4GB one, but it most certainly accepts 8GB - so a vast store of photos over 6,000 and bucket loads of video capability, greater than 2 hours. Who needs a dedicated camcorder? This is not the diminutive shirt pocket camera, but it is a comfortable size which delivers in all aspects, photographic quality, video capture and instant prints, with the availability of producing quality prints via the stored memory card. I'm very pleased I got this beauty.
