waste of money screw not strong enough

Agree with previous comment. The screw that holds the ball joint in place which your camera is attached to simply is not up to the job. No matter what I try the screw loosens off after the first couple of small bumps you go over on the bike and within minutes your camera is laid on its side. I have tried all sorts to make this work as it does look a promising bit of kit. But save your time and money as this is simply not upto the task all because of the crucial locking screw been useless. Shame though as it looked promising.

The mount is a nice idea and would be great if not for the weak screw that holds the ball head in place. I purchased this with the intention of mounting my Gopro (with tripod attachment) on the downtubes of my hang glider. Unfortunately the screw that locks the ball head in place is not able to adequately support the weight of the Gopro except when near directly vertical. So whilst the product might be o.k. in situations where the camera will be mounted directly above the ball head, it is not the best at holding the camera in position on an angle.
