Review

The breathtaking account of their successful odyssey; it's an inspiring story of courage and a determination to make a difference. --Prestige Hong Kong, November 2008

When Jennifer Murray's husband bought a share in a helicopter, little did she imagine that a few years later she would be attempting to circumnavigate the globe via the North and South Poles, having already become the first woman to fly solo around the world in a helicopter. After her hopes were dashed in a near fatal crash, never one to give up, Murray and fellow pilot Colin Bodill attempted the daring journey for a second time. Adding yet another world record to their respective lists, they also managed to capture some truly stunning images to serve as lasting memories. --Kee Magazine

Suddenly we have two new and immensely human, role models for making the most of each and every one of our active years. --Culture Hong Kong, Nov/Dec 08

5.0 out of 5 stars Crash, but dare to try again: An epic Pole to Pole flight by helicopter, 18 Sep 2009

This review is from: Polar First (Hardcover)
This is a spectacular story of determination against the odds. The book shows how two splendidly determined and brave adventurers overcame a serious Antarctic accident which ruined their first world beating attempt to fly a helicopter from pole to pole.

The book does justice to their amazing stamina and fortitude by its superb, breathtaking colour photography which accompanies a fascinating, and humbly self-effacing diary.

Brilliant.
