Excellent reference 2 Jun 2010
Format:Paperback
This book is softback with 134 pages of text plus around 25 pages of colour plates. Although it might appear dated (1988, released by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and published by HM Stationary Office!) the information is still relevant today. This book covers dangerous plants and fungi of the UK. Each species mentioned has a detailed textual description, details on the specific chemical hazard contained, risks to humans and animals and also any additional notes (such as easily confused species etc). Most also have a colour picture however you must flick through to the colour section to find it. This book is a valuable reference/research source and is highly recommended.
