Product Description

In this compelling sequel to 'Voices' Isabel has finally got it together with Duncan, her long distance love from Scotland. But Isabel is talented and ambitious, and playing Medea at the Edinburgh Fringe is a great opportunity, and when Duncan comes to visit, Isabel is too busy with rehearshals to make him her top priority. Her best friend Macy feels a bit sorry for him. She thinks Duncan is a laugh - and the two of them have a lot in common - but he's her best friend's boyfriend, of course thet get on, what's the problem? Except that things slip out of control one night and a food fight turns into a passionate kiss! Isabel walks in on them and all hell breaks loose - she's convinced there is more to the kiss than Macy claims. Furious and hurt, Isabel doesn't give either of them time to explain and it looks like the end of the end of a good friendship. So this is what betrayal feels like? How can Isabel's friendship with Macy ever recover? And what about Duncan? Is is it really the end for their relationship? It's only on holiday in France that Isabel starts to reconsider...Life's too short to fall out with the people you love? And maybe even poisoned friendships can recover? But where do you start..?
