I bought this bed specifically for travel.It fits my car crate perfectly. We recently had a cottage holiday and Rosie settled down and travelled comfortably for the 5 hour journey. It is very light so on arrival it was easily taken into the cottage the sides clpped up and Rosie then had her own bed for the stay.
Black would not have been my first choice but it is ok for my non-moulting standard poodle, but the cushion does attract hair, and would soon be very hairy if you have a pale coloured shedding dog.I would not choose it for a very elderly or arthritic dog who needs a little more comfort than the lightweight cushion provides.
However I am happy with it as it serves the purpose for which it was intended, and good value for money.

What a great bed, soft & snugly inside, with wipe clean outside perfect.
Poppers are strong, so holds it shape but not too tough that my 4yr old niece couldn't help me. Bought for my dog.. also with stands 6yr, 4yr &2yr old making rowing boats & all sorts out of it.

Since the Poi dog bed arrived, our dog snuggles down into it, and doesn't try to join us on ours; result! This is actually a well designed product. Strong snap fasteners at each corner of the bed keep it in a rectangular shape when in use, but for travelling, they can be undone and the bed can be rolled up to save space. It is easy to clean, as the main bed feels like proofed canvas, and can be wiped or sponged. My only criticism is that the washable cushion in the bed is rather thin, but Lottie definitely approves.
