1.0 out of 5 stars No Table of Content or Navigation! 14 April 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The selection of poems is ok, from the few that I can find by starting at the start of the book, but there is absolutely no navigational help at all! None! No table of contents, no index by author, title, etc.

Random browsing in the way that one can with a paper book does not work on the kindle - we need some navigational help. Please fix it.

1.0 out of 5 stars disappointed 17 Mar. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Don't waste your money on this kindle edition. As the previous review mentioned there is no index, the poems are not even in alphabetical order of poets. There is absolutely no way that you can find what is in the book without going through every page. I am very disappointed and only wish I had read the one review of the book before I had bought it. I am now going to remove it from my kindle as it is a waste of time having it on.I'm sure the poems are delighful but why not have an index?

4.0 out of 5 stars Charming book 7 May 2011
By Rosalyn Manesse - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Well, it has no table of contents, but it is clear and readable. Mnay favorite poems are included--among them "The Cow" "Jabberwocky" "The Children's Hour" "Who Has Seen the Wind?" "The Lamb" "If" "The Walrus and the Carpenter" "Casey at the Bat." I'm over 70 years old, and I still love almost all of these poems.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite poem is LITTLE BOY BLUE 15 Sept. 2014
By Southern Lady - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Poetry All kids Should Know is a book that parents should read or have their children read. My Favorite poem is LITTLE BOY BLUE. As a child, I loved this poem and as an adult, I had a Little Boy Blue that came into our lives and the angels took him three days later. He had the same breathing problem that
the Kennedy baby had. Now children are given a shot of enzyme medicine made from a cow and it keeps the baby's lungs clear. Please get this book and share these lovely poems with your children and grandchildren.

I got this for my granddaughter to read on her Kindle Fire. She enjoys reading the poems from time to time.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Collection 2 Jun. 2014

Many of the poems I already knew, but my children don't know them. This is a fantastic collection of poetry from real poets; I haven't been impressed by many of the children's poets of today.
2.0 out of 5 stars not what I expected 5 May 2014

I wouldn't have chosen these particular poems for children. The language is very different from how we talk today and it seems to me that there are other poems by these authors that are better and more appropriate for children.
