Product Description

Review

You cannot fail to be moved by these poems, which come from the heart and enable us to share the feelings of the poets. The importance of this collection is shown by the fact it is published in association with the Imperial War Museum, which was founded to collect and display material relating to the 'Great War'. (Parents in Touch)

A striking and diverse anthology of poems by the likes of Wilfred Owen... Edward Thomas and more. (The Bookseller)

Macmillan teams up with the Imperial War Museum for a new collection to mark the centenary, including poems from the soldiers, nurses, families and friends affected by the conflict. (The Bookseller) --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

A great variety of poems, nicely arranged and in a very readable format. I loved them all, especially Rudyard Kiping's 'My son Jack'. They all break your heart into a million pieces.
