This is a book I stumbled across as an American living in London. I now don't know how I lived without it! It helps with conversions to gas marks, meat cuts everything!!!!! This handy pocket guide means I don't have to guess all the measurements of my favourite American cookbooks! My only problem now is that my waistline is expanding again!

If you've ever tried to cook anything from an American cookbook, knowing what some of the ingredients are can be a headache, but this book tells you in an easy to understand format. When it comes to cuts of meat, this book not only tells you the different cuts, but has got diagrams as well. Well worth the money.

This is the most comprehensive book on American recipes, and measurements of ingredients. I don't know what I would do without it.
