5.0 out of 5 stars Must Have PC to Miniphone Adapter 15 Aug 2009
When you need this, there's no way around this. They charge too much for it, but it's necessary. If you have a Pocket Wizard radio-controlled flash trigger, it generally comes with a cable like the one in the photo I uploaded--PC female to miniphone male. The problem is that some external camera flashes don't have a PC connection point. The more expensive and newest Canon flashes do and most of the Nikon flashes have one, but many other models and brands don't have one. So, you end up using something like this hot-shoe adapter with a PC cord: Hot Shoe with PC Cord Flash Shoe Adapter I wish that made one of those with a miniphone connector instead. So, to make that work, you need this adapter. They make an adapter with multiple inputs, multiple possibilities (e.g., PC female, PC male, etc.), but it doesn't connect as firmly as this one. I bought one of these about nine months ago and just ordered another because sometimes I want two and because sometimes I worry that I'll lose this little thing. I can't find that anywhere else.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works, but overpriced 5 Dec 2009

This does exactly what you want it to do, so there is not much to review. It is overpriced though.
