I think this is going to serve as a fantastic travelling companion. I've previously visited Prague so I know that this book is accurate and informative, and it will allow me to see things that I didn't get the chance to first time around. Of course, nothing beats doing your own research to try and find out where the locals go but this book certainly helps.

The content of the book is fine - exactly what you expect of the rough guide series. However, the maps don't show well on the Kindle version. They are too small to read on the Kindle. If I view the maps on my iPad (with the Kindle application), you can increase the size of the maps, but the writing is still blurred - they obviously haven't been scanned in enough detail.

This pocket rough guide is small enough to fit into your bag. there is a pull out map in the back which we used all the time because Prague has such narrow streets it's hard to navigate your way round without a map. this guide helped us find some really interesting places off the beaten track and because Prague is a small city it was easy to find them on foot. We really liked the John Lennon wall, and the monuments to communism which we would never have found without the guide, and this opened up an afternoon on the other side of the city away from the main tourism which we really enjoyed.
