A Fantastic Guide 30 Mar 2006
Format:Paperback
For any business owner or spokesman who needs to face the media, you need to read this book. Clear and concise, it is very easy to follow and understand and its lessons are easily digested.

It is very easy to downplay the importance of media savvy, until you are caught out. Let's put it this way, I wish I'd read this book earlier in my career!

If you are intending to talk to an audience at ANY time, even if only to deliver a best man's speech, this will prove to be a valuable aid. Whether you have to give a TV interview explaining why your company has made a booboo, or if you are speaking in front of an invited audience there are tips in here that can only improve your performance.

I got onto this book through listening to the author's "mediacoach" podcasts, which are also well worth catching. Even if you never intend to speak to more than one person at any one time Mr Stevens touches on many aspects of the media that you never knew impacted on your life with insight and humour.
