If you are looking for a solution to scan your Receipts this is it! stop looking for and buy this one. I have been using it for 6 months now. just done 40 Taxi tickets in 2 PDF files. (pdf is external software as printer). Is swallows any kind of paper, even those receipts you found in the bottom of your handbag, scracthed and dirty. It is a robust solution. Simple and easy to use: no external power adapter, small and tought.
Job expenses scanned in few mintues. It will help you and your organization a lot.
Plus, if you really need it, you can take it with you, it will fit in pretty much all laptop bags, without effort. and is a light product.

Having used another popular (and vastly more expensive) brand of small "mobile" scanner in the past, I had become accustomed to a very handy device which, nonetheless, had more than a few gremlins in the system and high levels and frequency of temperamentalilty. This product being about 30% of the cost of the other, I had therefore expected a similar experience, perhaps with even more temper-tantrums or a decreased scan quality. I consoled myself with the fact that, if this were the case, at least I hadn't wasted quite so much money on this occasion.

To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The Plustek M12 Optic Slim is an absolutely fantastic product. It is easy to install/set-up, easy to use, lightweight, small and easy to transport with a laptop, fast and quiet and has all the functionality of it's more expensive couterpart with NONE of the temperamentality. Should you wish to change the settings (such as the destination of scanned items for storage) you won't even need to glance at the manual - the process is simple and everything associated with this product appears to be highly intuitive. The scan quality is good and it even comes with a handy storage case for travelling and a stand for whilst out of use on your desk. I fail to see how any other paperfeed scanner could better this one for functionality, quality, useability and value for money.

Very handy in that it fits into a laptop bag without taking too much room. I use it nearly every day for sending sketches relating to work projects back to my office and having this has meant that my days of trying to beg access to a fax machine are gone.
