Well, it was worth the wait!! Plenty is an exceptional album. Akin to it's predecessor Motive (set for a much deserved re-release next year) in sound and flavour, all tracks on the album are expertly crafted and well sequenced. There really isn't a bad track on the album with absolutely no filler. That said there are stand-outs/highlights, for me these are; Hurricane, The Sign (both pop classics and the latter having a feel and vibe reminiscent of tracks from the brilliant The Circle and The Square), Never Let It Be Said, Without, the beautiful Say What's In Your Head, the whirling and infectious orchestration and chorus evident on Let It Rain and the melancholy and power of the amazing Don't Let Go.
Anyone with a sound ear for melody and a taste for sophisticated, emotive and well crafted pop music can't go far wrong with this gem of an album. This record deserves to be heard - and by a lot of people. Here's hoping it's a great success and another album isn't too far away in the future.
Congratulations and thanks to all of the band for such a stunning and beautiful album.
