The definitve guide to the Mental Game of Pool,
By A Customer
This review is from: Pleasures of Small Motions: Mastering the Mental Game of Pocket Billiards (Paperback)
Fanchers ability to deconstruct conventional pool players advice on issues such as concentration, emotion and focus and redefine it in a logical and succinct manner will have players all around the world questioning their inherent bad habits and misconceptions on the 'Mental Game'.When reading this book you will feel a sense of irony as the author skillfully describes scenarios of game situations that you will have encountered. Your respect for the tools and techniques to improving your mental game that are provided will not come solely because Fancher has a Ph.D in Psychotherapy but ultimately because he is a pool player like you and me.
